Why is Power Plant Control necessary?

Your plant's operation in compliance with grid requirements, voltage/frequency regulation and reactive power balancing are mandatory under EPDK regulations. The PPC system automatically manages these requirements, prevents grid penalties and optimizes energy production.

What functions does it manage?

PPC manages voltage and frequency regulation, reactive power (Q) and cosφ control, active power curtailment, remote inverter control, automatic protection and alarm systems, data recording and reporting functions in real-time.

Can it be installed in existing power plants?

Yes, the PPC system can be retrofitted to existing power plants. It is compatible with all inverter brands (Huawei, SMA, Sungrow, SolarEdge etc.). Installation is completed within 1-2 weeks including SCADA integration.

What is the difference from SCADA?

While SCADA performs monitoring and data collection, PPC performs active control and regulation. PPC automatically changes inverter setpoints according to grid requirements, balances voltage/frequency and optimizes reactive power. SCADA and PPC work together to provide a complete solution.
